Contest at My Place!

Today is the Eldest's 8th Bday* and I want to celebrate. Let's have a contest!

I'm giving away a pattern from White Lies Designs and some random yarn to be chosen by yours truly out of the stash. Said yarn won't be enough to make the pattern with, but it will be enough to play with.

That being said, every comment left will be considered an entry. Contest will end on October 1st (my Sister In-Law's Bday.)

*Truth be known, he's had a lousy b-day so far. He's had stomach issues for a week and had to go to the doctor on his birthday. He did get lots of attention from the nurses though, so I guess it wasn't all bad. The big party is scheduled for this Saturday, so hopefully we'll make it up to him then.

  1. Happy B'day!!! I'm sorry he's not feeling good. Hopefully he will be good as new for the party. Eat a big piece of cake for me.
    Hugs!

    Happy Birthday!

I say, if he's not completely fine by his party, he needs to have a second smaller one to make up for it ;)

  12. Happy Birthday to your little man! Hope he's feeling better very soon! It's never fun to be under the weather on one's birthday especially when you're young and should be excited about every aspect of the day.

Hope he feels great for his party and has a super time!

  15. Tons of sympathy and wishes for a fast recovery. There are few things more important than a birthday at that age. I hope he's running wild by party time.

I am so sorry he had a sad birthday. My birthday was on the 14th, and that was ok, but not great either (although funnily enough I haven't told anybody that except you... so don't spoil my secret..)

Hope he has a super year! I kinda figure that maybe if your birthday wasn't super-duper, then maybe the year will? *really, really hoping!*

And Happy Birthday to your sister-in-law. My birthday is in 9 days - Yes another Libra! The only thing I really want is yarn, hand dyed, hand spun, something I can't usually afford. My guy won't hear of it. He thinks I have too big a stash as it is.
So in the spirit of more birthdays, let everyone celebrate all birthdays.
And for the rest of your family, Happy UnBirthday! Robin
